How to Publish an Article in Joomla
Take a finished article live on your Joomla site, with datanephew able to do it for you.
Joomla calls its content pieces "articles," and like most content management systems, a new article stays unpublished until you explicitly set it live. You can do this yourself in the admin panel, or ask datanephew to publish it for you directly.
Steps
- Log in to your Joomla admin panel and open Content, then Articles.
- Open the article you want to publish, or create a new one.
- Review the title, text, and category before publishing.
- Set the "Status" field to "Published."
- Save & Close, then check the article's public URL to confirm it's live.
ask datanephew
Can datanephew actually publish an article for me in Joomla?
Yes — datanephew has a direct publish connection to Joomla, so you can ask it to take a finished article live and it will confirm once it's published.
Can I have it schedule an article for later instead?
Ask it to set a "Start Publishing" date instead of publishing immediately — Joomla supports scheduling an article to go live at a future date automatically.
