How to Publish a Post in WordPress
Get a finished draft live on your WordPress site, with datanephew able to do it for you.
Publishing in WordPress moves a post from a private draft to a live, public page. You can do this yourself in the dashboard, or ask datanephew to publish it for you directly.
Steps
- Open the post from the Posts list in your WordPress dashboard, or write it fresh in the editor.
- Review the title, content, and any images before publishing.
- Check the meta description and permalink in your SEO plugin's panel.
- Click "Publish" (or "Update" if it was already live) in the top right of the editor.
- Confirm the post appears correctly by visiting its live URL.
ask datanephew
Can datanephew actually publish a post for me, not just draft one?
Yes — datanephew has a direct publish connection to WordPress, so you can ask it to take a finished draft live, and it will confirm once the post is public.
Can I have datanephew schedule a post instead of publishing it right away?
Ask it to set a future publish date instead of publishing immediately — it can schedule the post to go live at the time you specify.
