Subscribers Gained vs. Lost
How many people subscribed to your channel, and how many unsubscribed, over a given period.
What it means
YouTube Studio reports subscribers gained and subscribers lost separately, then nets them out into a total change. A channel can gain a thousand subscribers and quietly lose two hundred in the same month.
Why it matters
Looking only at net subscriber growth can hide a real problem — a channel gaining subscribers from one viral video while steadily losing its regular audience is not actually healthy, even if the total number is going up.
