how-to guide
Appealing an Account Suspension
You get a notification naming the exact policy violated, an appeal link, and up to six months to use it.
Appealing a whole-account suspension is a different, higher-stakes process than appealing a single disapproved ad.
Steps
- Check both your Google Ads account notifications and your email — a suspension comes with an in-account and an email notification naming every policy that was violated.
- Follow the appeal link included in that notification rather than searching for a generic appeals page.
- You have at least six months from the suspension date to file the appeal, so there's no need to rush a response you're not ready to make.
- Address every violation named in the notice, not just the one that seems most obvious, since a partial fix can lead to another rejection.

How long do I have to appeal my suspended account?
At least six months from the date of the suspension. Datanephew can't see or submit the appeal itself — that happens directly in your Google Ads account.
