What it means
Q&A is a section on your Business Profile where anyone — not just you — can post a question, and anyone can answer it, including other customers. As the business owner you can also seed it with your own frequently asked questions and answers.
Why it matters
Left unmanaged, this section can end up with wrong answers from strangers sitting at the top of your listing for anyone to see — it's public and unmoderated by default, so an unanswered or badly answered question can actively work against you.

Not yet — this depends on datanephew's Business Profile connector, which is on the roadmap. Once it ships, datanephew will be able to read your GBP Q&A and help you keep it answered.
What can I do about it right now?
Check your Q&A section periodically yourself and post your own common questions with clear answers before customers or competitors fill the gap.
