What Is a Google Business Profile?

The free listing that controls how your business shows up on Google Search and Maps.

What it means

A Google Business Profile is the free panel that appears when someone searches your business name or something like "plumber near me" — your hours, address, phone number, photos, reviews, and posts all live there, and you manage it directly through Google, not your website.

Why it matters

For most local businesses, this panel is the first thing a customer sees, often before they ever visit your website — an outdated phone number or a stack of unanswered reviews there can cost you a customer before your site gets a chance to.

Can datanephew manage my Google Business Profile today?

Not yet — Business Profile support is on datanephew's roadmap. Today it can help with your website analytics, search, and ads data; once the connector ships, it will be able to work with your listing too.

What should I check on my profile in the meantime?

Log into your profile directly and confirm your hours, address, and phone number are current, and that you're replying to recent reviews — those are the details that most affect what customers see first.
