Responsive Search Ads (RSAs)
Ads where you supply multiple headlines and descriptions, and Google tests combinations automatically.
What it means
Instead of writing one fixed ad, Responsive Search Ads let you provide up to 15 headlines and 4 descriptions. Google mixes and matches these to assemble different ad versions for different searches, and learns over time which combinations perform best.
Why it matters
Because Google controls the combinations, you don't get to see every exact ad a customer saw — but you can still see which individual headlines and descriptions are pulling their weight. Ads with too few strong assets, or heavy overlap between headlines, tend to underperform.

Which of my headlines are actually performing well?
Ask datanephew to pull asset-level performance for your responsive search ads — it can show you which headlines and descriptions are rated highest.
Is my ad strength actually a problem?
Ask datanephew to check the ad strength rating alongside real performance — a low rating combined with weak results usually means it's worth adding more distinct headlines.
